"They said, "Put your entire trust in the Master Jesus. Then you'll live as you were meant to live--and everyone in your house included!" They went on to spell out in detail the story of the Master--the entire family got in on this part. They never did get to bed that night. The jailer made them feel at home, dressed their wounds, and then--he couldn't wait till morning!--was baptized, he and everyone in his family. There in his home, he had food set out for a festive meal. It was a night to remember: He and his entire family had put their trust in God; everyone in the house was in on the celebration." (Acts 16:31-34 MSG)

"We were God's enemies, but he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Now that we are God's friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ's life!"
(Romans 5:10 GNB)

In part 13 (click here to read it), we saw that Jesus was the complete package and we have been made complete through union with Him. Here we will look at the legal implications of that union.
We are His body, of which He is the head. You cannot legally separate the head from it's body.

In part 12(click here to read it) we covered the fact that at the new birth, we were united with Christ as one spirit so that through union with His life we become alive. Here we look at how great a salvation it is.

"Don't bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn't a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn't think of such a thing. You're at least decent to your own children. So don't you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better? "Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God's Law and Prophets and this is what you get." (Matthew 7:7-12 MSG)
