"We were God's enemies, but he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Now that we are God's friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ's life!"

In part 10(click here to read it), we saw that when we believe in and call on Jesus to save us, our spirit is recreated in the image o Christ. We receive the life of Christ through death (separation) to the sin-nature and union with Christ. Reversing what happened to Adam and Eve, they were separated from God’s life and received the corrupted sin-nature through union with the devil.
We receive His life through union of our spirit with His.

In the last installment (click here to read part 9), we established that we need His life as the antidote to our state of death. The blood of Christ qualifies us to receive His life. Here we look at how we receive it.
