It can t really be November can it?   It won t be long before somebody is telling us how many shopping days it is before Christmas.   November promises to be an eventful one.  After a brief business trip to Stockholm Hayley & I leave for Brazil on the 9th to promote The Bonsai Conspiracy and launch the companion book Until Christ is Formed.   The English version of The  Bonsai Conspiracy will be available at the end November and Until Christ is Formed will be the teaching manual for our new church plant , Grace East starting in January so look out for updates on the new initiative.

Our visit to Brazil will include speaking at an academic conference for the publisher Vida and lecturing at McKenzie University in Sao Paulo where The Bonsai Conspiracy is a core curriculum book for the Post Graduate theology students.  In addition, we have some TV chat shows lined up as well a live satellite cast to all of Ciao Fabio s stations in Brazil which is a tremendous honour; we will be speaking at a pastors conference and holding various seminars and speaking at a number of churches.  Exciting though all these opportunities are our real joy is to be with the ecclesias. To be with Pico & Fabina, Fabio & Simone, Eduardo & Selina, Jonahas and all the team at Grapho, Fernando & Nilsa, Ta-Ta & Vera,  Will & Anna and so many more. And then there s the new Grace Gang that is forming in SP with Jorge & Co. This will be the third visit to Brazil this year and we are thrilled to be back in Sao Paulo.

Now just because we re away please don t stay away. We have left Grace West in good hands.  So if you re in West London any Sunday afternoon drop in & visit TGP West. The Grace Project s West London Ecclesia. Meetings start at 2.30pm.  Set in the comfortable surroundings of the Ramada Encore Hotel the meetings are a combination of discussion based teaching, worship and fellowship. The formal meeting takes place between 2.30pm & 4.30pm after which we relax in The Hub the hotel s licensed bar & Starbucks combined.  The Guiding Lights group will be hosting the meeting in our absence and they are going to continue in the Colossians series that I am currently teaching.

Have a look at the schedule below and if you get a chance pop in.

If I were to wish for anything I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of what can be, for the eye, which, ever young and ardent sees possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility but never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragment, what so intoxicating as possibility.

S REN KEIRKEGAARD,
Either/Or
