His will always prevails
Running the ship from the control room
His bidding is to be obeyed
He is the boss behind the scene

I am easy to influence
Often change my view on a whim
He takes His time to get the point
But once it's set, it's hard to change
No permanent change happens without Him

There are times when I change a plan
Because of pressures from without
He hangs on to the original
Has creative ways to make mine fail

Logic is my thing, not his
Don't focus on what you don't want
But rather, on what you do
He not very good at telling the difference
He locks in to what you constantly think of
He'll find a way to get you there

If you really want long-term change
It's pointless just trying to do it through me
If it is to last, He must be onboard
Drum that new plan in, keep it coming
Till He dumps the old and adopts the new
You can tell it is, when the actions follow
