Created and given a mandate

To rule over all He made

"Have Dominion and subdue"

Were the word used

In them was all the power required to rule

Created to be filled by Him

To move and live in Him

Then came the enemy

To start the deception

That turned the tables

And made slaves of kings

Who were created to rule

Manipulated by circumstances

Like they could not be changed

Made in the image of the creator

Enslaved by the creation and called an addict

Without the power of dominion

Pushed about from pillar to post

Now the soul-less rules

Here comes Jesus as promised

To restore Man to original purpose

To live in me and rule through me

So I can rise above all things

And see as God sees

The end right from the beginning

Seated with Him in heavenly places to rule

Redeemed and restored

Destined to always triumph

No matter what life throws up

I can walk tall in Him

Knowing the greater one, is within

To ensure victory is mine

As I take up my place to rule

Now life belongs to me

Peace that defies any situation

Joy in the face of persecution

Faith that see through to the end

Provision that cannot be bankrupt

All's in place for me to rule

So full of His love

Fulfilled by Him

All other things have lost their appeal

Now I can afford to say no

Emotions are great, but they do not dictate

My choice of reality

As I exercise my right to rule

My current reality I do not deny

I merely choose to transcend

I chose His ways, which are higher than mans

And mount up with wings as eagles

I am no longer under my situation

Now I can rise above them

As one who is called to rule

================&&&&&====================

Christ is made to me

All wisdom and all power

Completely accepted in the beloved

Declared the very righteousness of God

Now I know, I'm born to rule

================&&&&&====================
