In anticipation, I looked forward to that day
When I will be perfect, wanting nothing
Endued with all the love and power I'll ever need
I desire to be Holy and set apart for Him
Pleasing Him in everything
Good enough for the King of kings
Blameless in thought and in every deed

When will it be?
I have been searching, ever since
I received Him and began to see, what I should be
Sometimes, it looks like I'm getting there
Something always happens, to set me back
And so it starts, all over again
The journey is long, so I tire some
I hope I recognise, when I finally arrive

When I sing, I look forward to my desire
When I speak, I talk of the day to come
When I look to the Word, it tells me all He's done
Two cannot walk together, until they agree
I'm in looking forward and He's looking back
One of us had to be wrong, so it had to be me
So I humbled myself, to learn where problem was
================&&&&&====================
The Nineteenth chapter of the book of John
The Thirtieth verse held a long-standing truth
There revealed, the line in time
There at the cross, it was settled forever
From then on, His past tense begun
Cause He completed it, there at the cross
It was then I realised, what was wrong
I was caught in a time warp, behind the cross

My eyes were open, to a new reality
I possessed all of divinity, within my spirit
He put in all in Christ and put Him in me
Now I'm complete, with all I need
To move from possession to manifestation, I must renew my mind
To see me as I am, in the spirit of Christ
Then my mind, would allow me to act
Like the Word revealed, that I was in Christ

Now I say, I have every blessing in Him
I am the righteousness of God, in Him
I posses all that pertains to life and godliness
My every need is met, according to His riches in Christ
I'm already accepted, in the beloved
He's as pleased as can be, with me in Christ
I'm certain one day, my deeds will catch up
The more I see, who I am, in my minds eye

What peace and contentment, I now have
No longer waiting, for the day that never comes
I am fulfilled by the knowledge, of He in me
Reveling in the love, He has for me
Knowing, I don't have to work for it
Life's much easier, abiding in the Vine
Letting the vine manifest through me
Life really begins
When you step out, from behind the cross
