Something s missing

Can't seem to hold it together for long

It all falls apart, at the pressure point

I read the instructions

I'm sure I did all that it said to do

Yet it never seems to be

The way they said it would

I got the impression; it wasn't that hard

But that s exactly what it has been for me

I want so much, for it to work out

I've tried it several times and more

There has to be something wrong somewhere

I'm going to have to get those instructions out again

I'm trying to walk in love, as it told me to

Putting in my best effort, to be good

I spread the good news, as I should

For others to come and try, as I do

It does take a bit of psyching, to get going

I guess its just something, to get used to

I may have stumbled on a clue

As I take my time, to read it through

It mentions being rooted and grounded in love

Could this really be the glue that holds this thing together?

I must admit, at first I didn't think order mattered

As long as I got round to them all, at the end

The things to be done, for others to see

Caught my attention first

So I put my best effort there

Should have trusted the "Maker"

He know what He's doing

The instructions He gave

Are in that order, for a reason

The only way, in which it would work

Is to put, first things first

With no deep rooted foundation

It's a lot of work to try and keep it up

When eventually the strong wind blows

The is only one direction, for it to fall

Now I've got it, the right way round

Received a revelation of His unconditional love

As I bask in it, I'm drawn to Him

My only response, to love Him back

So full of His love

I see others through His eyes

His wonderful love compels me to be pleasing

I share the good news of His love, cause I can't keep it in

If need be, I'll even speak of it

Amazing things happen, when you put, first things first
