Then were the days

When happenings stole my happiness

As you can imagine

Didn't keep happy for very long

Happenings have a way of happening

To steal from me that "feel good" feeling

Then Jesus came

To introduce a new concept

Joy in the midst of happenings

I mean the kind that Happiness can't endure

Had to deduce, that it was happenings free

It was a fruit of His spirit

I've got the point now

Don't look to happenings but the end result

The guarantee that I overcome in everything

My joy now comes from the One that lives in me

His work in me will never cease

All He is in me, is good

My joy finds it's source in Him
