Stood toe to toe with it

Looked into its eyeball

Could see way too much detail

Began to feel intimidated

I was clearly too close

I stepped back and stepped up

Back to my proper position

Seated with Christ in heavenly places

Now I see as He sees, the end from the beginning

What looked so big

Is now, no more than a speck

To the maker of all things

I let it bring me down to its level

When I stepped down and stepped up to it

Contemplating the possibilities with out Christ

Who I am in Him, makes all the difference

Greater is He in me than anything I face

In Him I triumph every time!

Now I laugh, like He laughs

At the thing that bothered me so

Cause it was never any match, for the one above all

So I trust and refused to be moved

Till my Victory manifests from my new vantage point
