This series has been dedicated to transforming your perspective on life's inevitable trials, tests and adversities. In the introduction (please click here to read it), we established that such adversities were a fact of life but we have God's assurance that everything we face will workout eventually for our own benefit. More to the point God delights in turning the table on the devil and having the last laugh.
To verify this, we have been going through the bible to highlight examples of God's people who have come through negative circumstances and in hindsight turned out to be better off (Click here to read part 9). The bible assures us that "...God treats all people alike."(Acts 10:34 CEV) and since "Jesus Christ never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8 CEV), we can expect the same results in our lives.

Time and space forbids me to tell of all the other incidents
In 1 Samuel 16-17, there's David and Goliath
In 1 Samuel 30, There's David at Ziklag
In Daniel 1-5, There's Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego
In Acts 4-28, There's Peter, John, Stephen and Banarbas
And on and on the list goes
They all follow this form; the devil seeking to do harm
Only to fulfill the purpose of God and offer the Lord, the final laugh
Here is my admonition to you
When next the devil starts to mess with you
Be sure of one things, God is ahead of Him
If you don't give up or give in to his dirty tricks
Having done all to stand, stand in the faith, don't quit
Victory is the only outcome from it all
The devil may appear to be having a laugh
But God almighty reserves the last one for Himself
Don't get down in the dumps
Why not laugh with God in advance of the end
Would that devil ever learn?

I hope you have enjoyed the series and it inspires you begin to look at the "negative" situations of life with a different perspective. All is not always, as it seems, very often, it's not new circumstances we need, but new eyes to see them through. I think all the stories we have covered show that God is an expert at working all things out for our good and there are many more in the bible where those came from. May be you can look through and share them with us. You may even have stories closer to home that reflect this same truth. Start learning to rejoice ahead of the manifestation of victory, knowing that is the only valid outcome when God is involved.
"I am grateful that God always makes it possible for Christ to lead us to victory. God also helps us spread the knowledge about Christ everywhere, and this knowledge is like the smell of perfume." (2 Corinthians 2:14 CEV)
