Have laptop will work
. Providing you have the appropriate adapter you can run your office from anywhere in the world and with all the new gadgets that are at our disposal
even the techno-phobic like me can muddle along. Spent the morning working on commercial things from home and so was thrilled when the phone rang and I answered to be greeted by the voice of my dear brother in Christ Edwardo. Anyone who knows him will testify that when you spend time with time itself stands till. What a joy to leave the rigours of writing a change management proposal to spend a few hours with my dear friend and dare I be so bold to quote him:
My son in the Lord.
Edwardo facilitates two Grace Project ecclesias here in Brazil. Under his faithful stewardship they have grown as he has been diligent in digging their roots into the depths of Christ enabling them to be nourished on the life giving soil of grace. Edwardo and I had not seen each other since May so we had plenty to catch up on. An ever increasingly feature of our conversations is that I am the one who is learning. Wonderful mysteries pour freely from his mind as he shares his understanding of grace and the life Spirit. Refreshed I return to my labours
Speaking of labour
d been
pregnant
with this little book of mine for so long that I had begun to wonder whether I would ever see it in the natural realm but tonight it arrived. So now I am an author complete with an ISBN number and everything. The full ramifications and responsibility will sink in due course but I want to cherish the sense of innocence that I feel right at this moment. I have no idea what will become of this little book
How will it fare in the harsh critical religious world outside of my study? But now it is free
birthed and released from my mind. I feel sure that it will not return void, surely it will accomplish whatever purpose the Lord has for it.
Jonathas, my publisher had arrived at the hotel grinning like a midwife presenting a mother with her baby. As I cooed over the pristine new creation he regaled me with a tale of an incident that had happened earlier that day. He had gone to visit with a pastor friend of his and whilst waiting for his friend there was a man doing some building work in the church. They had never met before. As Jonathas waited the man paused from his hammering and called to him:
The Lord shows me that you are handling literature that no other publisher would dare to touch
God says keep going.
It was a wonderful vindication. The two men stood together and prayed
Jonathas wept.
So book in hand it was off to Tata
s home to share the love of God with the artisans. What an evening, the Lord was conspicuous by His presence. We spoke long into the night about the freedom that is ours in Christ. I spoke a strong message on Christ without Christianity, a theme that I am speaking on more and more and the Lord was gracious as he condescended to use my words to bring hope and healing. The church that meets at Tata
s house has grown out of all proportion. It was standing room only as around forty or so family and friends [mostly musicians] huddled together I am sure the angels hung in admiration from the balcony of heaven as the ecclesia sang their redemption songs. As we left still more were arriving
more like a house party than a meeting
Just like it should be. Grace to you Tata Grace to you.
