The love puzzle – (5) Love manifestation

In part 4 (click here to read it), we discovered that we cannot of ourselves, love with God's kind of love, but He can through us. This is the new covenant way of walking in love. Here we look at how to walk in the certainty of His love that is in us.

(IV). "My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God."

(1 John 4:7 MSG)

This ties nicely into what we looked at in part 3. God is love, His love is unique to Him. He is the only source of this "God kind" of love and therefore anyone who has this kind of love must have got it from Him. If love is the essence of God’s DNA, then anyone born of Him will have the same love nature , subsequently relationship with God lends to the manifestation of this love.

You are influenced by those you enter into intimate relationship with.

1. "But don't fool yourselves. Don't let yourselves be poisoned by this anti-resurrection loose talk. "Bad company ruins good manners." (1 Corinthians 15:33 MSG)

This being the case, the converse must be true. Good company must do us a world of good. If we are in relationship with the God that can do nothing but love., then it stands to reason that the love nature in us will begin to manifest.

1. "Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the LORD, and they study it day and night. They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. They succeed in everything they do."(Psalms 1:1-3 GNB)

So were not trying to get His love, we were spiritually reborn with it. This then begs the question, why are we not seeing more of it in our lives. It is important that we don’t confuse possession with manifestation. You may possess a lot of money, but live like a poor person. The key is in the way you see yourself. This is why knowing that you already have God’s love is one of the most important things to establish in your understanding. If you think you are trying to get it, the possibility exists that you may never do so and it makes it easier to give up. If you however know that you already have it, then you are more inclined to persevere till it begins to manifest.

The mind holds the key to our actions, as we think, so we are. We therefore cannot act consistently above the knowledge of who we know ourselves to be. This limitation of operating through our minds is an earthly restriction that will be lifted when we have a redeemed soul and body, but until then experiencing the immense riches of our spirit will be filtered by the knowledge we hold of it.

1. "for as he thinks in his heart, so is he.."(Proverbs 23:7 MKJV)

2." When Christ died, he died for sin once and for all. But now he is alive, and he lives only for God. In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But Christ Jesus has given life to you, and you live for God. Don't let sin rule your body. After all, your body is bound to die, so don't obey its desires or let any part of it become a slave of evil. Give yourselves to God, as people who have been raised from death to life. Make every part of your body a slave that pleases God." (Romans 6:10-13 CEV)

To understand the process of moving from possession to manifestation, lets look at the analogy of a poor person who suddenly inherits untold riches that he could not exhaust in a lifetime. The fact that he now possesses riches does not automatically translate into a manifestation of those riches in his lifestyle. There are rich people who have gone to their graves living like a paupers and the reason lies in their thinking. If you think poor, you live poor. Your wealth will not jump on you and make you manifest it. You have to go to it and manifest it by using it to improve your existence as you see fit.

1. "..put off the old man with his deeds and having put on the new, having been renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him," (Colossians 3:9-10 MKJV)

To transition from poor to rich lifestyle, you must first change you mindset. You have to see yourself as no longer poor but rich. You have to accept your riches as your new reality. Get comfortable with saying "I am rich". You must get over the sense of unbelief induced by so many years of poverty by considering the undeniable evidence of a burgeoning bank account as attested to by your bank statement. When you meditate on it long enough and get it, then you will begin to act like it.

1. "You were told that your foolish desires will destroy you and that you must give up your old way of life with all its bad habits. Let the Spirit change your way of thinking and make you into a new person. You were created to be like God, and so you must please him and be truly holy." (Ephesians 4:22-24 CEV)

So it is in with His love in us, we must look in our bank statement "the bible" and meditate on the inexhaustible riches of His love in us that it reveals, till we shatter the old "I don’t have love" mentality and get comfortable with saying "I have the love of God in me". Renewing our minds is therefore the most urgent priority of the saints; it is the very key to operating in His love that we have inside.

1. "Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God---what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect."(Romans 12:2 GNB)

2. "But it was to us that God made known his secret by means of his Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, even the hidden depths of God's purposes. It is only our own spirit within us that knows all about us; in the same way, only God's Spirit knows all about God. We have not received this world's spirit; instead, we have received the Spirit sent by God, so that we may know all that God has given us." (1 Corinthians 2:10-12 GNB)

3. "..Your word is truth." (John 17:17 GNB)

4. "..God keeps his word even when the whole world is lying through its teeth.." (Romans 3:4 MSG)
