Why this course?

Burnt Out Britain - It is estimated that stress-related illness is costing the economy upwards of £3.75billion a year. If the statistics are correct then we it seems that despite the tremendous advance in technology more and more people find themselves simply unable to cope. It is reckoned that as many as half a million people are absent from work due to anxiety or depression.

Burnout is a pandemic leaving its marooned sufferers wondering where to turn for help. Advice abounds from changing jobs to changing diets from meditation to medication, but the answer to the question lies not in "where to look" but in who .

Almost paradoxically the problem of burn out is not confined to the secular world, among Christians many believers have felt the disillusionment with "religion" and many are weighed down by "spiritual burnout". In both constituencies the reason is the same men and women both "lost" and "saved" have yet to discover the truth of who they really are .

Paul is able to draw on more than 20 years of experience in one-to-one coaching, training and personal development.

Paul specialises in mentoring, particularly one-to-one coaching, for members of management who have given expanded leadership responsibilities for which they have no formal training. He greatly enjoys working with managers, helping them to become leaders : people of influence, executives not merely able to make their subordinates 'do' their jobs, but rather to inspire them to do their jobs better . His clients include Disney and Sir Robert McAlpine .
