Freedom in Christ school full & part time

The strap line of the Grace Project - "Discover who you Really are" - suggests, we take the view that many, if not, most believers not only have yet to discover this truth but worse, in the absence of this awareness, they (we) are left to live out of our "own" resources with the inevitable consequences of burnout and disillusionment.

Indeed there is a saying coined by Ian Thomas that says; " There are two types of people in the world, those who live a life that they don't have and those who have a life that they don't live! " Maybe you have caught yourself thinking from time to time that there must be more to the Christian life than this? The Good News is - There is! The Freedom in Christ courses are designed to enable students to discover precisely what that Good news is - and then to help them appropriate it.

As part of its own evolution The Grace Project has had to face core questions about its own identity as a course provider and over the last five years has been in the process of finding its place in the stream of Christian education. Given its Pauline instincts, the programme directors and charity's trustees have sought to create an environment that is both contemporary in its delivery whilst at the same time being loyal to the nature of Christian education as evidenced in the New Testament.

Christ Planting

The Grace Project is a " Christ-Planting School ." We believe that the most helpful contribution we can make to Christian education is to live and teach what we call "the Gospel to the saved" as expressed by Paul in his letter to the Galatians: "It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me and the life that I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God. " ( Gal 2:20 ). This we do by creating an environment in which students can learn to "draw life from the Father" and gain an ever-expanding consciousness of their union with Him as their total reality.

The Pathway to Christian Maturity

The Freedom in Christ Courses can be accessed in various guises. Courses are available on both a full & part time basis. In addition, to which students can participate in seminars and conferences as well as our distance learning programme Grace @ Home. In each of the programmes the central themes are geared to helping learners to realize the "replacement life of Christ."

Method of assessment

Method of assessment. Ultimately the only valid measure is the fruit of the Christian life. The courses are offered as applied modules of study. Whilst we are not primarily an academic institution students will be provided with the opportunity to check their understanding of the subject studied by both classroom interaction and in the case of the full time programmes by the submission of term papers.

Learning Outcomes
