Seminars A t the present time The Grace Project offers the following courses on a seminar basis. These seminars are held both at The Grace Project in London as well as regionally and internationally. The Grace Project has strong links in Scandinavia and South America where it periodically holds Grace Project Seminars including:
SAFE AND SOUND: THE MINORITY REPORT It is remarkable that the average unbeliever has managed to convince himself that “whilst he may not be good enough to go to heaven [if indeed there is one] he certainly is not bad enough to go to hell.” Conversely, the average believer has convinced himself of precisely the opposite, namely that whilst he may not be bad enough to go to hell there are no guarantees that he is good enough to go to heaven. The result is that the unbeliever lives with a false sense of security whilst the believer labours under a false sense of insecurity. Safe & Sound explains the irresistible case for eternal security and is a must for the “Saved but Scared” LOVED & ACCEPTED For many believers accepting the fact that they are “accepted” is the greatest single obstacle to making spiritual progress. Both Paul & John identified “no condemnation” as the starting point in the pilgrims’ journey into freedom. WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST Unlike Man Utd, which is a more advanced programme, Who You Are In Christ is a gentle introduction into the believer’s union with Christ. Taking a more counselling approach, the seminars look at the core issues of identity, self-image and self-esteem. THE JESUS THAT JOHN KNEW Written from his unique perspective, “that you might believe” John’s is the mystery Gospel. This course serves as a valuable introduction into the believers union with Christ. GRACE IN THE SHADOWS - CHARATER STUDIES Many people assume that grace is a New Covenant concept, however, the truth is that grace is ingrained in the very fabric of Scripture. In the series Grace In the Shadows, we examine the unfamiliar nature of grace through the familiar figures of the Old Testament. Studies include profiles of the lives of: Abraham ,Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses BURNOUT Burnout has been described as “being in a state of fatigue and disillusionment brought about by the dedication to a way of life that failed to bring its expected reward.” Spiritual burnout has reached epidemic proportions and in this course we ask the question – “Burnout friend or foe?” JOSHUA - POSSESSING THE LAND The message of Joshua is among the most important in the Old Testament as Joshua metaphorically speaks about our possessing the fullness of Christ. THE LIFE OF DAVID The unified life observed in the life of the beloved David the man after God's own heart. The course charts the highs and lows of David's life and times and engages with lives of the key characters in his story, including Samuel & Saul. GRACE WORKS Those who oppose "Grace" as a total system often do so on the basis that they perceive it to be a "License to sin." However, there is a radical difference between a law- free and a law- less Gospel. In this seminar, we will show why law and not grace promote sin and why it is grace alone that produces holy living. FALSE SELF-SYNDROME In this seminar we examine the inevitable problem that is "separation" and seek to explain both the causes and cures for False Self Syndrome GALATIANS 'FREE FROM THE LAW' The letter that changed the world, rightly called the Magna Carta of Christian liberty when understood Paul's letter to the Galatians unlocks the imprisoned evangelical mind forever. Students considering this programme ought soberly to ask themselves the question "Am I too institutionalized to be anything other than frightened by freedom?" Before answering the question, it might be as well to go to your video store and rent a copy of The Shawshank Redemption. SHEBREWS 'BEYOND THE POINT OF NO RETURN' What do you do when you feel the consciousness of sin? Perhaps this is a question of supreme importance to all those who are taking their first steps along the counter-intuitive path of union life. One thing that you do not do is return to the law, the very thing that every part of your soul will demand that you do. The letter to the Hebrews addresses this precise point and as such is a timeless resource for all believers. EMERGING FROM THE SHADOWS A look at the Book of Acts as a historical background from which to understand not only Luke/Acts but also the Epistles as a chronological journey rather than a disconnected reference library. MAN ULD six letters that explain the mystery of the Gospel. In this course, we seek to explore the nature of the believer's relationship to Christ.
