The fact that this coming Sunday and every Sunday crowds will flock to "If-you-ain't-giving-you-ain't -getting" hot-spots all over Christendom is to me at least proof positive that the church is in the grip of Amos's famine [Amos 8:11-12]. Even now, many have gone out to gather herbs and these dear ones are oblivious to the fact that there is death in the pot are unwittingly poisoning themselves on the offal of legalism.

The discussion sparked on my Facebook yesterday after I posted that odious You Tube video ('Pay tithes or get SHOT') was hugely encouraging. I'm glad we're not numb to the pain that this anti-Christ gospel is causing. But we need to allow ourselves to be more than grumblers we need to be prepared as God leads us to make a difference. You see Love is not a protest, it is a demonstration.
It is estimated that stress in the workplace is cost billions. Almost a decade ago it was said that stress-related illness was costing the country £3.75 billion a year. Statistics say that each year, 150,000 people take at least a month of for ailments causes by job pressure. More than 6.5million working days are lost and, at any time, an estimated 500,000 people are of sick with anxiety and depression; and that was in the boom before the credit crunch and the subsequent bust.
“You don’t understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am.” ~ Terry Malloy (Marlon Brando) in “On The Waterfront” (1954) If there is one word in the English language that has haunted me over the years, almost mockingly, it is the word potential. .jpg)
